Gescruzeiros

Gescruzeiros - Sociedade para o Aproveitamento da Actividade Marítimo - Turistica no Grande Lago Alqueva SA, is the only operator with the capacity to organise itineraries in the " Great Lake" - Alqueva dam, with boats from 6 to 120 passagers.

Gescruzeiros has a modern fleet of three boats, two with capacity for 25 passengers and one with capacity for 120 passengers. This last one is operating since May 2007.

Gescruzeiros – Sociedade para o aproveitamento da Actividade Marítimo – Turística no Grande Lago Alqueva, S.A.,  was born of synergies between the  companies Gestalqueva - Sociedade de Aproveitamento das Albufeiras de Alqueva e Pedrogão, S.A., of Public capital and Nautialqueva - Serviços Náuticos Lda, of private capital.

	The first one has, as a mission, the promotion of activities that allow the sustainable development of the geografic space "Alqueva", integrating projects, separately  or in partnership, in highly advantageous areas for the sustainable development, in new business areas.
	The second one, is the official promoter of Amieira Marina, the first nautical project of the "Great Lake", implemented, in the sphere of action of the "POAAP", which has nautical services from the rental, maintenance and parking of boats, bar and terrace, panoramic restaurant, nautical and sports articles store and a conveniance store.

Since 2007 the tourist has the possibility to know the great Alqueva Lake, integrating regular cruises between distinct parts of the  Great lake, or thematic trips according to the objectives and favourite destinations of each  group.
